Melissa started in the field as a Behavioral Health Technician and continued to advance in her education and career, becoming a Clinical Director. Melissa received her Addiction Counseling Certificate from Atlantic Cape Community College and a Bachelor's Degree in Human Services, specializing in Addiction Counseling from Springfield College. She is credentialed in the state of NJ holding a CADC and Florida holding a CAP as well as an International Certificate for Alcohol and Drug Counseling. Melissa began her own journey in recovery over 17 years ago, allowing for both personal and professional experience. Melissa is passionate about guiding others in their recovery process utilizing both a clinical and a holistic approach that incorporates healing through nutrition, clinical, medical and holistic approaches.

Robert Snyder has been working in the field of substance abuse for ten years. He has experience in residential and outpatient settings, and has helped a wide variety of people battle addiction, including both adults and adolescents. He received his Master’s degree, LCADC and CCS in 2013. He teaches assessment skills for addiction studies as an adjunct professor at Atlantic Cape Community College. As a person in longterm recovery, Robert is active in his community and has a passion for helping others attain positive change in their lives.

David Dorschu, MS, has over eighteen years of experience in the substance abuse field, serving in various leadership positions which incorporate the entire continuum of care, including Clinical Director, Risk Management Director, QA Director, Outpatient Program Director, and currently as Chief Executive Officer of the RCA at Raritan Bay facility. David began his tenure at RCA in 2016 as CEO of the Lighthouse, a 133-bed facility located in Mays Landing, NJ. David has utilized these various leadership roles to form a treatment philosophy based on the latest, empirically supported research. “The patients we are so fortunate to serve have provided to us a tremendous gift: the willingness to share their pain and offer us a glimpse into their brokenness.
