You are challenged mentally, you are required to learn all about how addiction works both biologically and psychologically so you understand what is going on with you. Your therapists do not coddle you, they say it like it is, good or bad. The therapists will push you mentally, they will help you resolve all your past traumas and correct inherently illogical belief systems Tree House provides you with gift cards for a grocery store. You will be required to live on a budget, purchase and cook your own food, and just like in real life you will not be able to go out for every meal or have each meal prepared for you. You will live in close proximity to other clients — which will challenge you to continue growing. Treatment should not be about “getting sober”, that’s easy. It’s about learning to LIVE sober and truly LOVE life sober that requires the structure that Tree House provides. All of the challenges you face will turn your life around.
