Womens only treatment CBT and DBT therapy Adventures Accountability Compassion It is a strict program which some of the women dont like but they need it. Thanks to CCR, our daughter is alive, clean and sober for over a year, is independent and surrounded by a loving support group, and now gives back of herself to the community that supports her ongoing recovery. She truly has become a woman with integrity and grace. It shows in every word she speaks. It also means that we as parents have learned so much about ourselves, our family and our own ability to have the courage to change and grow in order to support our daughter’s ongoing recovery, and find our own sanity. We will be forever grateful for the miracles that brought us to today. Other miracles continued to amaze us. CCR should be considered as a role model for treatment centers. Everything that is done every moment of the day is geared toward teaching each client to accept and love themselves, respect others, and support each other as they move through the recovery process. The staff are kind, loving, and have all been there and done that, so they know what each client is going through, and they know how to help, encourage and support them through the process. The wonderful thing about the workshops is that we as parents get to not only see firsthand this process at work, but we get to participate as well. While it was hard work, it was healing, it was educational, and most importantly participating in those workshops allowed us the opportunity to provide support to our daughter by learning new tools to communicate and practicing them in a supportive environment. Just like those girls do every day until they believe in themselves again. Our daughter embraced the program, she has since graduated, has worked for the program, gives back to the community, and continues to thrive in Prescott surrounded by a support group of many remarkable women from the community, from the clients at CCR, and from the staff as well. More miracles. The very hardest thing of all for us was to let go. We can no longer be the coach, director or player and have all the expectations that come with that. The best thing of all is that she is doing it on her own. One day at a time. Thank you Canyon Crossing Recovery for all you have done for our family.
I\'m probably the only person you should trust with a review of Sierra Tucson. It was such a great experience and even though it\'s very pricey, it\'s well worth the money. I was fortunate enough to have my insurance cover 100% of my 37 day stay. I\'m a 25 year old female and the only downside of it was the requirements for wardrobe. Everything you wear must be conservative. No shorts, tanks or leggings. Basically my whole wardrobe and girls must wear one piece speedos in the pool but besides that, the staff, facility and treatment which I received was top notch. Take it from someone who has been to copious amounts of rehabs, ST was my final stop and it saved my life. The scenery is beautiful and the activities are fun and treatment based. I\'m also a smoker so if your wondering how that works, there is what they call a \"butt hut\" which is designated for you to smoke away in whenever you feel the need to. Let me give you a quick pointer. Be your own advocate when it comes to making appointments. If you want to book a massage, make sure you do it days in advance. Also, take advantage of the state of the art treatments they have like EMDR and DBT. You need to make appointments for those as well and you do that with your primary counselor. If you slack on making appointments, you\'ll have a lot of down time. I saw my psychiatrist about once a week and if I needed her for something between scheduled visits she was happy to squeeze me in. Family week was the best part. It literally saved my family and helped me heal in so many ways I can\'t explain. If you run out of toiletries or need something that you didn\'t bring, ST has an on site store which carries really nice branded shampoos and good books and they also have some really pretty jewelry which I keep on me to this very day. The people there are nice, I met some friends. At the same time, some people are jerks and there\'s the occasional nutcase. Overall, this was the best treatment center I\'ve been to and it was the last. I went there about three years ago to the day and now my boyfriend is going next week. I hope this comment helps some of you and I hope you make the life changing decision to attend. It\'s more of like a therapeutic spa rehab than a scrub the floors with your toothbrush place. I wish I could spend one month a year there for a yearly tune up. It really was that great. It\'s mostly people in their early 20s to late 50s but I\'d say it\'s more younger people than older. Anyway- best place ever. Oh, and I went there to treat addiction as well as severe depression and anxiety.
I did relapse 6 months after leaving, but I learned valuable tools to stay sober, and I am sober now. I also learned to eat correctly, meditate, and take the right supplements. I also made lifelong friends there with other patients and staff.
