The River Source
My experience at the River Source was excellent. I feel more stable and that I have learned more about myself in 30 days than other treatments in the past. they pout a strong focus on step work and 122 step meetings which is where the recovery process happens. I would high;y recommend River Source if you are looking to recover from addiction, and start a new way of living.
Arizona Addiction Recovery Center
Definitely great at combining 12-step and holistic treatments, it's not an all or nothing approach, and each person is treated uniquely. It's also a pretty affordable facility as well. It's a nice environment in general, but some of the furnishings are a bit dated. This was my 3rd attempt at treatment, and it was way different than the first 2 places I went. From the first day I was treated as a unique individual and was introduced to new recovery approaches in a way that seemed very inviting. They also went beyond just treatment and helped me focus on life issues that were causing me problems too!
The Sanctuary at Sedona
I had been to another rehab in 2007 and then needed to go again in 2015. The staff at The Sanctuary are amazing and the fact that at most there are 10 guests tells you that you get one on one help. The non 12 step approach and holistic ways as well as shamanic traditions have followed their way to my new home in Sedona. I was on a path that would have led me to jail or worse my death. Today I am happy and clean.
