Greenhouse Treatment Center
Excellent facility and best trained Medical doctors, Psychiatrists, Therapists, and Nurses in the nation with treatment continuity into Greenhouse Outpatient (GHOP). The facility is wonderful and VERY conducive to detox AND rehabilitation, but it's important to remember it is a hospital. Restrictions, privileges, and schedules are maintained accordingly. Treatment expectations could be communicated a little better at first. The medical doctor is a minor part of treatment, there for on-demand issues after the first short visit. Your therapist is your primary personal recovery provider, spending the most one-on-one care. He or she is the eyes and ears for your psychiatrist, who reviews your progress, distills your therapist's findings, distilling into conclusions with you in short sessions and making any medicinal conclusions as deemed necessary. The TA staff is actually wonderful if you understand their position. Again, Greenhouse is not a hotel. It is a beautiful and wonderful recovery-focused hospital. The TAs help maintain order and rules but are also the go-to persons for help when needed. Ask with a smile and be prepared for a "no". You may not understand why. Or may get what you need. Be friendly, and help your brothers and sisters in your journey together.

Nice room, but we had ants. No biggie, there was just a few of them. As far as treatment goes, I was here for Alcohol and there were barely any classes on AA. The most I learned about it was from Bills Christian Track class. Food was good!
