River Oaks Treatment Center
My therapist Karah was amazing. She was very supportive but also motivated me which is a good balance for me because I've had a lot of enablers in my life. Our sessions always felt very natural, she always respected me if I didn't want to talk about things. TA Keita always made me feel like she was there for me by going out of her way to help me with little things. She was warm and welcoming, it feels like she actually cares about us and doesn't look at us like we are just clients. I love the AA meetings, I went pretty much every night. I played volleyball almost every day. They had nightly community events like art night, and trivia night which was nice to have fun sober. I got lots of resources and tools while I was here, they helped me set up my aftercare. Overall, I would recommend however in the last few weeks I've noticed a change with the clients and staff and the groups, but when I first got here I really enjoyed the groups and overall the community is very welcoming.
Recovery Unplugged
Ya know I thought this music thing was a big joke when I first heard abour recovery unplugged. I couldn't have been more wrong. The reality is addict or non addict we all connect to different types to music. As an addict my biggest problem was learning how connect with myself and find my own identity. Recovery unplugged gave me opportunity to do just that. The living residence was great. It's right by the beach, they have a pool, and I got to use the phone!!!

Boca recovery saved my life. When I was at my lowest with my addiction I walk through the doors and was greeted with open arms. The staff was amazing and the techs really care about you as a person. My Therapist was always there when i needed to talk. I left boca with so many tools to use to help me stay clean. Boca is by far the best treatment center in south Florida.
