I have had a really remarkable experience here at Synergy. The staff is always willing to talk and help out with any situation that arises. The house is fully furnished in a comfortable cozy atmosphere. The pool is open in the summer months and the fire pit is lit at nights for the clients. The house is cleaned every Monday and chores are done by the staff. Wendy, the chef is a doll. she cooks up 3 healthy meals everyday for us to eat. On visiting day, we were able to show our loved ones around the house and visit in any of the rooms. The theater room is a great place for the kiddo's to watch movies. I would recommend this treatment center for anyone seriously trying to kick addiction in a heartbeat. Thank you to all of the staff for such a outstanding stay with you. You have helped so much in my recovery. I don't know how I would have done it on my own.
The teaching was exceptional, I have been to 8 treatment centers and Turning Leaf was on a much higher plane of instruction, so my last treatment center experience was the best, I felt relived leaving thier, more secure in my recovery than an any other times. It was the fact that girls and quys can get treatment, but have a policy to be 10 feet away from them, no one on one hooking up, and I truly respected that. Don't quote me on the distance, I forgot, but overall I was given much better materials to learn from instead of the same ole stuff I normally got.
They work with the addict to help them formulate a plan to effictivley stay clean upon release. They have classes all day with 10 minuet breaks between classes (smoke breaks) to educate the addict on multiple ways to help themselves. I, personally, believe that trying to cram classes down someone while they are detoxing or are freshly clean is a bit ridiculous. I think that they do a good job on educating users on skills that will aide them upon release.
