Desert Hopes IOP facility was an amazing experience. After spending 35 days in the main facility then being transferred and spending another 11 days in the IOP program I was really impressed. I came in broken and hopeless and left feeling like a new person who wants to live a new lifestyle. The females are housed in nice apartments that are fully furnished and all the food provided that you need and more. Programming throughout the day continues even in IOP and focuses on life when we return home. I was given so many needed tools.
Great Counselor's but food was not the best. They make you feel welcome and not like you are a disgrace to the outside world and that your life does mean something.
