Specialization

  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

The focus of cognitive behavioral therapy (also called CBT) is helping people to understand the thoughts and emotions that underlie their addiction with the goal of learning new, healthier and more productive ways to understand and express themselves.
  • Client & Family Support Groups

Group therapy is a vital component of addiction recovery treatment, considered as important and effective (sometimes even more so) than individual therapy. Benefits include reducing isolation and loneliness and providing the opportunity to learn from others in recovery. In the addiction setting, group therapy is run by trained professionals who guide participants toward a shared goal of recovery.

My daughter is currently in Seven Hills. We are super frustrated because beside the initial call from the Dr., who told us she would know more the next day, no one has told us anything. We visit and our daughter says the Dr. meets with her and asks the same 4-5 questions that seem to have to do nothing with why she is there and then sends her out. No blood work has been done, no meds started (not that I want that route) but it seems like we are paying just to have her locked up to do nothing. When we go visit there is no consistency. People go in with bags and phones which you are not supposed to do. One night both parents go in and visit, next night we are told only one can go! They tell us we can\'t divide the time between us both but then then while Im visiting they tell those of us that came with someone that we leave so the next visitor can come it. That was good except that the 5pm visit didn\'t start till 5:20 and they got us at 5:35 and they still ended at 6 even with the late start. We are given numbers to call to talk to our daughter then we call and they tell us we are not allowed too. No one knows what is going on over there. I even left a message with a patient advocate there...no response, some advocate!! Super upset and angry.

My husband was a voluntary inpatient, he left after 3 days because he was only able to see the therapist for 10 minutes during his 72+ hour stay. Started outpatient and the very first session was singled out and humiliated by the group leader (I'm not sure she was even a therapist). They didn't even know he had left the facility in tears until I contacted them threatening to call 911. Incompetent, uncaring, unprofessional, poorly trained, rude, and full of excuses is the BEST I can say about them!!!
