I came to Providence Ministries not just broken, but shattered...There is a reason why the program that Providence offers works if you surrender to it. This treatment facility provides something that no other rehabilitation center can offer. In fact, this is not a rehab…it is a rescue mission. What they offer can’t be prescribed and it can’t be solved behind bars or in a hospital setting. With my time at Providence Ministries...I have learned where to get strength during moments of weakness, where to find peace, and where to seek the truth...The joy I feel today cannot be compared to any type of high!
I both attended this program in 2012 and am now employed here. The change in the program since that time has been amazing and is continuing to grow leaps and bounds. The Jericho House cares for men\'s lives and the lives of their family members in a way that is unrivaled by other programs in the recovery community.
I was a client at BRMRC from May-July. I came into Blue Ridge pregnant, and scared of judgement and of being treated poorly because of my situation. However, I was treated with such kindness, compassion, and understanding. The nursing staff made sure I was always okay and received all of the care I needed. The counselors and techs are all genuinely caring about every clients life. The are all willing to go above and beyond to make sure clients needs are met. They made sure to always be available to chat if anyone needed it. I do feel that blue ridge gave me a great foundation and understanding of recovery and a second chance at life.
