River Oaks Treatment Center
I did virtual groups while I was in isolation and that was a good experience, it was a huge plus because I have a learning disability. I was thankful to not have missed any information that was critical to me in my recovery. The worksheets helped me a lot to be able to see and process the information. It was tailored to my learning style. I was happy to know I was able to take in all the information from the instructors. The facility is clean and the staff is great, including the house keeping staff. It's very peaceful here. They have bunny rabbits and squirrels. It was amazing to see the nature here which helped put me in a peaceful place while I walked. I'm glad I found this place. River Oaks taught me to have lots of patience and I learned that my recovery is not only about me, but also my friends and family. I now know how to use my coping skills. I learned what my triggers are and how to cope with them. I learned that its ok to cry when you get emotional. I truly believe this place is a five star facility, I had such care and support and I didn't have to do anything alone.
