My name is Kimberly Serrato and I am currently in treatment and this place is the best place for being my first time in recovery and was the best experience. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone that needs help with addiction.
It's too soon to rate the treatment effectiveness for our young adult son, but we are grateful for this program and very happy with what we've seen so far. The counselors we met were caring and professional. The 3-day family session was very beneficial and we almost missed it. Our son's counselor who called to tell my husband about family week, did not give any detailed information or express how valuable or important it would be. Had it not been for our daughter strongly urging both of us to go, my husband would've missed it--and that would've been unfortunate. Even though I felt that our son's counselor could've been more assertive in his communication with us, our son liked his "laid back" approach as a counselor. The meals are Standard American Diet, but thankfully, they include a well-stocked salad bar. This program is based on the 12-steps, but only step 1 is required to complete the program. The required AA meetings may not be the best fit for everyone, but the overall program seems like it would be beneficial for anyone.
My Life saver, Iam grateful for the cair and recommend the program for anyone!
A Look at Coeur d’Alene Rehabilitation Centers
A study released in February 2012 showed some statistics regarding drug use among students in Idaho. The percentage of students using meth was cut in half, at 3.2 percent in 2011 compared to 6.4 percent in 2007. However, marijuana use is up to 18.8 percent now, compared to 13.7 percent in 2009. The state is in charge of a program, Idaho Drug Free Youth, which is a community-based substance abuse prevention program for students.
What to Bring to Treatment
Some treatment programs will allow you to bring reading materials, such as books or magazines, while others prohibit certain types of literature. Be sure to check with the facility before bringing anything that could be confiscated. Some facilities offer their own reading material for patients because they want them to focus on rehab. Some facilities, however, don’t mind and actually encourage you to bring your favorite books.
