I feel like I got something from every part of the program.
Staff is great, kind, and very supportive. Good food, excursions, wonderful behavioral techs, nurses, and therapists. Also, very tidy! Oh, and they clean and fold your laundry. Can’t leave that out.
There were so many that helped me during my stay here. The TA's are very relatable to the clients. My therapist Andrea was very helpful. Meg who does EMDR therapy was very therapeutic. They were able to bring some things out that I didn't want to deal with but I had to because it caused me to relapse. I got so caught up with work without really working on myself that led me to this point. I had a conversation with Dr. Sina that really helped because he has an abundance of experience. Orlando is a good dude, he really cares about the people here. Stephanie from EVS helped me with anything I needed down to my lost sock in the laundry. Nurse Betty was very patient. The groups were a refresher for me. I learned that recovery is a gift. Its something that can be returned so its something you want to take of, respect, and protect. I loved the AA meetings Monday Wednesday and Friday. Those guys show up no matter what and that lets you know they care. If it helps one person they've done their job. They have a lot of activities to do here. The gym they have is very nice and there is access to sports equipment and baseball, basketball, volleyball, and tennis fields. It helps us to take care of our bodies and take care of ourselves physically while developing healthy habits. We used to get that release from drugs or anger but now we can build new habits. I started to repair myself and identify differently while I was here and those activities were crucial. The community is very encouraging. Were from all different walks of life and we are all connected here.
