Our Master's Camp

I hope whomever reads this doesn't have to learn from my mistake in choosing omc..I shouldn't have went to a rehab if that's what you wanna call it ..technically there not ..they don't meet rehab criteria or they would charge insurance..based on the fact it's Christian based..I will give a rundown of your day..6am wakeup .7am eat ..8am sit in class unsupervised to pray..9am Clint came in and did 45 min of preaching..awesome btw.another 45 min class after a break..3 hrs of work ..mowing painting etc..throw an aa or na mtg and that's your day ..so basically you get 3hrs of class 3 hrs of work..no sphycolgist or licensed therapist..i was very disgruntled and decided to leave after one wk ..wen I asked Ben the guy who runs it to use phone to set up outpatient and call to rent a car he said no....I live in northern NY. .I said take me to airport ..he agreed..before I left I got to use phone .because I was no longer a client...there wasn't any cars available for a one way for 5 days..I don't fly due to anxiety..mind you the whole time I was a great client..I asked to stay until I could get a ride ...being I came down from Canada basically and was never confrontational and I already payed I wouldn't have never expected the reply i got..it was a no..so I was stranded for days ..in a state I know nothing about with a Lil money and a walmart phone card..not that it's the 1st thing on my mind in a situation like this ..but if you go ..you will also find all there food is outdated ..its all donated from a grocery store due too the fact it's outdated..this place made me sick .literally and figuratively ..I could go on and on why this place sucks..if you don't heed my advice..try to get an exit plan before you go in ..because they won't

Price was relatively fair.

This was my first treatment, so I can't speak to how Our Master's Camp compares to other facilities. However, I honestly cannot imagine anywhere else having such an overwhelming spirit of love, guidance, and authenticity for the price they're asking. I can hardly imagine anywhere being as genuine as OMC at all, really. There is a healthy balance of discipline and structure with understanding and patience. The staff has forever earned my utmost respect and gratitude because of the change this program made in my life. The staff is understanding, gentle but steadfast, knowledgeable, experienced, and genuinely caring...The dorm leaders, counselors, cooks, and speakers all offer much, in different, but harmonious, ways. The steps to recovery are here; the Holy Spirit is here; a new life can absolutely be found here for anyone who is willing to go find it. If you are struggling with a life broken by addiction, like I was, please believe me when I say-you can get help here! These men will help you if you want it! I cannot imagine going anywhere else for something so vitally important. Thank you Our Master's Camp- I am forever indebted to you for letting God work through you in my life.

OMC was a vital part of my recovery... It was where God got into my life in a big way and totally changed me from the inside out. Great atmosphere, great church family, AWESOME preaching and AWESOME lessons. Counselors were top notch, too. If you are ready to be done with whatever habitual sin is holding you back from being all God intended you to be, then this place is for you. I've recommended it to people I know from my home town.
