Do not take your loved ones here. My daughter was admitted for depression and suicidal thoughts. They don’t follow their own policies. She was admitted early on a Thursday morning and we never got an update from anyone on what was going on with her. The doctor saw her for less than 5 minutes to prescribe medication but no one bothered to call us about it, we had to call them. We were told we would get an update but never did. They also gave her medication didn’t tell her what it was, marked her chart for one thing but the nurse told us it was marked wrong. There is no one on one therapy. We were told she can have it but just had to ask to meet with the therapist. She asked several times the first couple days and they just kept telling her they were busy. She was supposed to meet with the therapist within 72 hours and we get an update. By day 5 we still have not heard anything nor had she met with a therapist. We called at about 36 hours to find out if the Dr had met with her and what was prescribed and got the run around. Finally talked to the clinical director and she promised the therapist would call us by end of day and NOTHING. We tried to check her out on day 3 because we weren’t thrilled with how things were going and they told us our insurance wouldn’t pay for it.

doesn\'t involve family with care unless they have a question concerning medications or lack there-of. Very out of loop when it came to loved one\'s care. No mention of when loved one will be released. Hopefully they know they have to give family at least 24 hour notice before letting said person come home.

I felt somewhat like one of the cattle being run through the system. Not much one-on-one with a counselor and the group therapy wasn't very organized. Meals were worse than school lunch. Facility is older and nothing spent on decor. Quick to get a bed. Not much offered in terms of therapy or activities. Leisure was spent watching old movies (VHS) in the rec room.

Received the best care and therapy at this hospital. It was a pleasant stay.
