Joseph Houchins, MA

Originally from Texas, Joe moved to Boston in 2013 to attend Boston University’s M.A. psychology program. His coursework was of a clinical focus, including abnormal psychology, statistics, personality, clinical psychology and neuroscience. Joe was also a teaching fellow and instructor at Boston University, giving lectures on a number of topics including Psychology and Criminal Justice, Social Psychology and Abnormal Psychology. For his Master’s Thesis, Joe analyzed pre-existing data to determine associations and mediational relationships among treated individuals with bulimia and co-occurring borderline personality disorder symptomatology. Joe has written numerous research papers, including those from his undergraduate research work, and enjoys writing creatively as well.
