The Luminous Care
When I came to OPR I had zero hope that anything could work for me. However, I was quickly redirected by the amazing staff that recovery is for me, and it is possible. My clinician, not only did she help me, she helped my family as well. From the tech staff, to clinical, director of operations, all the way to the top with the ownership; these people do care and they do love recovery. I\'ve seen their passion, and I have felt their love. And my foundation for Recovery started at OPR and they have been a part of my journey for the 20 months i have sober. From PHP, IOP, to OP and even when I got my own apartment in Florida, Our Place gave me direction and a hand when I needed it. I am forever grateful and every time I land foot back in South Florida I\'ll stop by and share my gratitude to them. Thanks again Our Place for all you did for myself and my family.
River Oaks Treatment Center
Several of the TA's were outstanding, they answered any questions I had and if there was something that I needed they did right then or directed me to what I needed. The nurses were good as well. My therapist and case manager were outstanding. I liked the groups, especially the smaller ones. They had a daily Town Hall which was helpful to get my day started because it helps you get your days started. I have to say that dietary was outstanding. If you asked them for something they made sure you got it and they gave you lots of options. They have a large campus, I do wish the cafeteria was a little closer. I enjoyed the AA meeting because they gave a lot of information and it allowed me to hear from my peers. River Oaks prepared me and gave a lot of fantastic ways to redirect, instead of turning to alcohol, to turn to something else. The house keeping staff needs to also be commended because this place is spotless. I would highly recommend River Oaks.
