I am forever grateful to Turning Point for helping me not only helping me recover from my addiction, but helping me find peace with the person I am. All of the staff members that worked with me were compassionate and made me feel like I was being treated with dignity. While the group therapy was undoubtedly beneficial, the most helpful part of the program by far was the individual therapy. The CBT approach in combination with the amount of individual therapy (3 sessions each week), gave me insights into my beliefs and emotions that I had never thought possible based on my previous experiences. I entered the program with almost no awareness of how I felt, other than I felt terrible all the time. I left with not only an understanding of why I felt the need to use drugs, but also why I had felt a lack of self worth for such a long time. I still carry this knowledge with me today and I think, with the guidance from the staff at this facility, it is a huge part of the reason I am still sober nearly five years down the road. Thank you to everyone at the facility who was a part of my time there.
Really good. The IT therapist Ivie was amazing. So was Zoey, the counselor. The CCs were great and deserve a raise so do the nurses
Was on the brink of destroying my life and keeping in mind it is an ongoing battle my time spent with IOP therapist cliff and group has put me on the best path possible. Equipped with tools and knowledge of the 12 step program I feel lifelong sobriety is obtainable. Thanks to highland ridge and all involved.
