Sorenson's Ranch School

Wow, it’s been so long since I thought about my time at Sorenson’s Ranch. It was back around 1991-1993. I probably wouldn’t be alive today if not for some of the families that took me in at Sorenson’s and in Koosharem. Hard workers who cared!

Sorenson ranch school helped me overcome a lot with the horses and animals there! Thank you so much for everything you have done Sorenson's School😃

I as well as others do not recommend this program, there are many behaviors of the staff that are very I'll tempered and should not be working there. They are privately owned and when it comes to be previewed by state they make themselves look better than they are because they have had 30 plus lawsuits filed against them one more could shut the place down, wich might be for the best. Now some staff helped me a lot and those staff who actually had a positive impact on me got treated wrongly. Some of there ways of punishment is out of hand especially the way the put there hands on kids. Some kids are left with injuries broken arms bruises. Sure we all need to pay for our actions but they just force use in labor or be made fun of. It change me but more to wear I was scared to go back into the real world.

I got my diploma there best time of my life honestly

This pace honestly made me a lot tougher and more better in life if it weren’t for srs I wouldn’t be as successful it helped me a lot and made me a better person if it weren’t for the principal I wouldn’t of graduated hs and earn my mortuary sciences degree it’s a tough place but everyone has your best interest at heart and if it weren’t for srs I wouldn’t be successful
