Lisa Cordasco is a group and individual therapist at Enlightened Solutions. Lisa has worked with individuals with mental health and addiction issues for the past five years at both the inpatient and outpatient levels of care. Lisa utilizes a variety of therapeutic approaches in her work with clients and pulls from multiple skill sets including motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness and acceptance based behavioral therapies, such as DBT and ACT, as well as psychodrama and experiential therapies. She is a licensed social worker, who recently completed all requirements toward licensed clinical social worker and is awaiting board approval. Lisa received her Master’s degree in social work from Fordham University in New York, NY. Lisa graduated summa cum laude after studying clinical social work, with a specialization in addictions and a strong focus in trauma informed care. She has recently completed her education and clinical hours toward requirements for her LCADC in New Jersey. This past year, Lisa earned her certification as a clinical trauma professional with the international association for trauma professionals. Lisa is also a person in long term recovery herself and finds it deeply rewarding to help others find their path to personal healing and growth.

Hi, I’m Eric Lapp, the Founder and CEO of the Raleigh House. Just this year, we’ve celebrated our 10th year of serving our community. One thing I’ve learned after working with over a thousand families is that substance abuse devastates families. It destroys lives but most importantly, people do recover and families get better. Long ago I discovered that addiction stems from years of LIFE and it is just a symptom of something more going on. We didn’t cause it but it is our job to figure out how to live a healthy life. The Raleigh House takes a multifaceted approach to treating addiction but first we have to understand the contributing factors of why and how it exists in the first place. At The Raleigh House we are careful to understand what is driving the substance use and the behaviors. We understand that addiction in some cases is a family disease, patterns and behaviors started at a young age that later manifested as problematic substance use and mood irregularities. In order to treat the desire to use, drink and act out unhealthy behaviors we have to grasp the entire picture. What was the childhood like, was there enough attention, was there enough love and nurture, what about support and discipline? Was there space to make choices, was there guidance if there was a better decision? Where did it come from and what prohibitin advancement in life. At The Raleigh House our job is to raise awareness and begin the transformational process, your job is to keep it!

Melissa Angelo brings 16 years of experience in the treatment industry to Enlightened Solutions Detox. Her experience encompasses a multitude of modalities, including Adolescent and Adult Residential Treatment, Partial Care, Intensive Out Patient and Out Patient Services. Melissa started in the field as a Behavioral Health Technician and continued to advance in her education and career, becoming a Clinical Director. Melissa has a clinical, operational and business mind, giving Enlightened Solutions Detox excellent leadership. Melissa received her Addiction Counseling Certificate from Atlantic Cape Community College and a Bachelor's Degree in Human Services, specializing in Addiction Counseling from Springfield College. She is credentialed in the state of NJ holding a CADC and Florida holding a CAP as well as an International Certificate for Alcohol and Drug Counseling. Melissa began her own journey in recovery over 17 years ago, allowing for both personal and professional experience. Melissa is passionate about guiding others in their recovery process utilizing both a clinical and a holistic approach that incorporates healing through nutrition, clinical, medical and holistic approaches.
