Sunflower offers a holistic programming, including CBT instruction, meditation, healthy activities and a focus on building tools that will help with post-recovery. The counselors are well-trained, supportive and clearly engaged in giving clients a wide variety of tools and mental processes that they can use for life-long health. There is access to work-out facilities both on-site and nearby, including a pool, as well as on- and off-site trips to AA and SMART recovery as part of the post-treatment lifestyle. As a vegetarian, the chef and staff were very accommodating. Again, I would recommend Sunflower to any who wants to control their own recovery through wide-ranging skills.
