Best place to get one off all the drugs including stuff legally prescribed to people that suffer from substance abuse disorder. Lays out the 12 step program and drills it into ones head effectively. Thankful for a staff that has suffered from substance abuse and actually understands what a person is really going thru unlike most places. They don’t allow masking of the disease and will allow medicines that do not alter the mind and body or have addictive chemicals in them. They are far enough away from civilization that generally no one is just going to walk off the property and will take someone bound and determined to not recover to a place of their choice locally while notifying loved ones of a persons decision to leave. Thankful for the sobriety I have today because of this facility. Staff is friendly and will give one the talk they need to pull their heads out of their butts as long as they’re willing to except the fact that they are sick.
Hebron Colony - Grace Home
This is a Christian based program. I was skeptical, in fact I had friends from AA tell me because this was not a 12 step program that they were probably going to try to talk me into Jesus instead of AA. I didn't care. I was desperate. Truly my life changed there. Yes, I relapsed when I re-entered the world, but the depth of the faith that was begun while at Grace Home allowed me to be picked back up and then completely healing. 25 years of drinking, battling, struggling- completely taken, gone, lifted, no more. Those 10 weeks were intense and invaluable. It changed my life. This was not a 12 step program, rather spiritual.

It is a faith based treatment center, if there's a change in the heart there will be a change in the mind.Some staff are recovering addicts which gives them a clear understanding of what an addict is actually experiencing. Fa it home has two facilities. Male and female. Great place to learn and overcome addiction. The one weakness I see is they do not detox! Faith home really cares!!! Not just about money.If someone really wants to go they can despite financial situation.
