I absolutely loved my experience here. I came into this treatment very unsure about the results, and I was treated very effectively throughout my time here and loved the whole staff. Would recommend to anyone who needs this treatment done!
My boyfriend was checked into Meridian, and I believe it was the best thing for him but me as well. Everyone Ive come in contact with has been so kind and helping towards me, and Im not even the client. One guy in detox day and talked to me for a half hour on ways that I cant help my boyfriend when he comes out and how to be supportive of him. Checking things into resitdential was so easy, and too, again they two males that went through his things were so kind and smiling as well. As for visitation it does stink to only be able to see someone once a week, or o my here from them for ten minutes a day, but you have to sit back and think they ARE addicts. For some talking to families and loved ones that much are going to make them want to come home. The phone calls I have been able to have, hes been happy then he has in years, and laughing with the ones around them. This place is for the clients not us. But if you go in and ask questions all the staff are so helpful and kind. Kind, helpful and knowledgeable. I havent seen any on my side, but Im also not a client
Sanford House is a very luxurious place to stay for rehab. It is beautiful. The beds are extremely comfortable, the rooms are spacious, welcoming, and homey. The place has an excellent chef and very healthy food. The staff is phenomenal. You can tell they genuinely care about each and every woman they work with and know what to offer to women. You get to attend outside support group meetings every evening, and go to the YMCA. They have a variety of types of group therapy and take your preferences into consideration for the weekly schedule for which meetings and activities to do. I would call it the platinum standard for rehabs, having seen many rehabs up close and personal. It is on par with other rehabs for affordability.
