Wilderness Treatment Center

wow, this place really helped me. Im 25 years old now, i was 19 when i showed up shaking from detoxing. Looking back, this place absolutely saved & pivoted my entire life. I was ready to get sober, i really was... i got a early start at 12 and by 19 i was on a pretty dark road. I remember the 1st day in the woods, i wanted to quit the first few miles in... Truly difficult and i bitched the entire way, those woods were rough for a spoiled, no perspective, never worked for a damn thing in my life 19 year old drug addict like myself. It was everything i needed for my transition, because after that long time in the bob marshal, after whipping my ass with leaves, after peaking mountains, after living in the woods for 30 days carrying 60lb packs i had actually accomplished something that i really didnt think i could.. I mean it was rough for me out there haha but when i came back i think that was the moment of momentum in my life because i had a level of accomplishment and confidence after that experience. The staff, the environment, the cabins... the woods.... No phones, no escape... I mean really, this place is what a sick person like myself needed. God, from beginning to end this place has the formula down. An experience that literally save & jumpstarted my life into a new one. 6 years sober last month.

Rocky Mountain Treatment Center

I wanted to take a moment and share how awesome everyone is here at Rocky Mountain Treatment Center. I have assisted with Insurance, Financial and Admissions for nearly 3 years. I have never known such caring and compassionate people. It is truly an inspiration to see how all of our Professional staff members come together and pull someone out of the darkness and see light-one day at a time. And for all of our Client's and their family members who find peace and start healing. A special thanks for our Client's who have made my job so rewarding to know that I have been such a small part in their recovery process. Many blessings to those who have touched our lives with their hope and success of a new beginning. There are so many individuals out there struggling with drugs and alcohol-yet most people sit quietly waiting for change to happen on its own. Thank you to the wonderful family members who have reached out to get their loved ones treatment. I was told once that a struggling addict touches the lives of at least 20 people! Let's reach out and help them. Let's help them get their life back. They may be our friends, family members, neighbors or even coworkers all struggling with Addiction. I truly believe good people just don't wake up one day and start an addiction. Something, somewhere in their life took a wrong turn. Together, we can all work towards a better happier, healthier life! We may not be your first Treatment Center, but all of us here at Rocky Mountain Treatment Center hope we will be your last! Comparing Inpatient and Outpatient Treatment

Inpatient treatment is the kind of treatment most people think of when they think of drug rehab. You'll enter a hospital-like facility where you'll go through withdrawal under a doctor's supervision, with medications to help you through it. Once you've detoxed, you'll go through an extensive program of daily group and individual therapy sessions.

There are many forms of outpatient treatment. You can partake in a program where you visit the rehab center on a daily basis, or a few times a week, for counseling and alternative therapies.
Why Abuse Prescription Drugs?

Prescription drug abuse is only growing more common. Here are some of the reasons experts believe that prescription drug abuse is so popular:

  • Prescription opiate drugs are incredibly powerful and very addictive.
  • People often believe that it's okay to use prescription drugs recreationally.
  • People aren't aware that they can get in legal trouble for sharing their prescription drugs.
  • People think prescription drugs are somehow safer than illicit drugs, since their production is regulated.
