I am currently a patient here right now- feel free to ask me questions. Facilities, food, and some staff are top notch. Too much emphasis on AA which is free. Clinically, too rushed and not enough 1:1 therapy available for the price tag. Gym is like a Motel 8. Upper management too focused on money and less concerned about the quality of treatment, and money talks here. Standards are compromised for the almighty dollar which is a disappointment. In recovery, money doesn't buy sobriety so in some ways these luxury treatment models are flawed and just enable the addict/alcoholic. If changes were made at the top and the right people were managing the place this facility could be one of the best. Currently, it is does not offer nearly the value its price tag commands and consequently I do not recommend it.
This treatment center completely changed my life. I was surrounded by helpful professionals that were more than willing to help me on my road to recovery. It was a positive, friendly atmosphere in between clients, and I had a great therapist who helped me a lot with my grief and trauma issues. I have maintained my sobriety for three years following being in treatment at Beachway. I would hands down recommend this facility to any alcoholic or addict seeking help from the disease of addiction.
The staff at this facility is top notch and have all been through recover themselves. Caring, efficient, understanding, Not as many beds open as would like to be offered.
