California Behavioral Health

They actually walk you threw all of the 12 steps in the first 30 days then if you choose to stay you go into CBT while also getting one on one counseling sessions with your therapist Plus an individualized treatment plan you work and change aspects as you grow weekly with a separate counselor, both of which they have multiple to make sure your paired correctly to maximize the full potential they offer, But they don’t pick you up and shake you off then make you better, they stick their hand out and give you the chance to brush yourself off and grab on excepting the trust and guidance of the staff while you hold on and walk until your ready to walk next to them and don’t need to hold on only the support next to you, knowing you’ve made family out of the loving and genuine staff they have made the Irecover family, with an amazing outside meeting with even more family for years to come if you allow it you’ll never fall flat of knowing you have people who will take your call and love you threw anything. The owner has made sure this is the way someone giving their all will feel once it’s time to move on from rehab and start their new recovery life. If you didn’t find anything good out this place then you didn’t open your mind and heart to them and excepted Passages Malibu or a vacation with the delusions your initial reaction to its a beautiful relaxing vacation like atmosphere and amenities offered. But to play in the sun you’ve got to weather the storm of programming during the week like the adult they are reminding you, your must get back into being. I love you serenity staff and owner plus everyone at how it works, I owe you a mind set for life and myself I genuinely wouldn’t have gotten anywhere else, in Palm Springs is the only place I’ve truly felt home, and always since my first experience in 2015 calls my heart back to. I promised 1 month and stayed 7 back in the IOP off campus boys and girls housing set up days, the best I’ve felt and most about myself I’ve ever learned thank you for convincing me to stay allowing me to stay and pushing me to get outside myself and genuinely love me as much as my family. 100 out of 10 all day any day for this place and the people.

Latino Commission on Alc/DA Services Alameda County/El Chante

I was hesitant to go into inpatient treatment, but boy was I wrong to worry. To a person everyone working at The House is earnestly invested and involved in helping clients recover. Sure I had some staff who I had friction with, but I always felt my recovery took precedence over personality differences. Bedding and infrastructure is a bit handed down and scuffed up, but everything is clean, as are the public and shared personal spaces. I did not have one bad meal in 2 months- NOT ONE !!! Amaaazing Latin American home cooked food that was healthy and tasted really really good. Alameda county decided I didn’t need 90 days and clients told me they could hear my counselor fighting for me to get a full program. That moved me- that I wasn’t just another meatbag to them, even if I am to the government…I give El Chante TEN out of five STARS !!!
