Circle of Trust Healing Center

For many reasons, this center is ideal for people in recovery to take seriously the steps to health which require self introspection, quiet, and dedication. Quite simply, there are few places that are truly dedicated to the depth of healing required to make such a major change. First and foremost is the deeply caring staff, who are training in the trauma healing Complete Recovery model as designed and offered by the inspiring executive director of the Center.

W is a phenomenal individual who really takes the time to get to know the clients. He was my ESM therapist while I was in treatment and he really challenged me to push beyond my own self-established limits. He wouldn't just suggest things to ask you to do them, he would actively participate with the clients. He show the worth of the program and the activities we participated in through his own word and deed. Will B. is the Physical Director for Portland and has taken his passion for Mixed Martial Arts into the treatment structure of the program. I was privileged enough to participate in a few of the earliest incarnations of this modality. The benefits that it can provide to any individual struggling with any multitude of psychological or neurological imbalances is immense and innumerable. He understands the clients and thus can craft the sessions to benefit individuals specifically and the group as a whole. The reason for the meals being a lower ranking is because at the very beginning you are budgeting for yourself and a lot of the time my pride and ego got in the way of me asking for help on my nutrition to make a more effective and efficient use of my funds for food. However, after I requested help, I was able to take control of diet and budgeting and now am able to do things for myself in my day to day life. The lower rating was because the program wants to empower individuals to ask for the help and then it is up to the individuals to take that advice and implement it. The first couple of weeks, this could be hard for an individual to do. However, I never once went hungry and now have the means to sustain my healthy lifestyle for the duration of my life. Thanks again Will B. and the Tree House Recovery PDX staff.

Investigate Springfield Rehab Programs It is well-known that many college students like to party, which often involves drug and alcohol use. The University of Oregon is no different. Data from the Department of Education shows that when compared to more than 200 colleges of comparable size, the University of Oregon ranks third for drug use and fourth for alcohol use. This is based on the number of violations students have received. Methamphetamine use in Oregon, including Springfield, is also very high. However, you don't have to succumb to drug use.

Help is available in Springfield and the surrounding areas if you are ready to move on and live a clean life.

Things to Discuss Before Signing Up for a Treatment Program

Before signing up for a treatment program, think long and hard about whether or not you are really ready to get help. Are you being pressured by friends and family? Are you in denial about your addiction? The more ready you are to abstain from drugs and alcohol, the better you will do in the program. In fact, many programs require that you have already started abstaining from drugs and alcohol before starting the program, so double-check the requirements before signing up.

Meth's Effects on Children

Meth abuse does not only affect the user. If a meth user has children, they will likely be affected by their parent's drug use as well. Habitual meth causes the following symptoms, which can have effects on caregiving:

  • Increased risk of neglect or abuse
  • Increased agitation or irritability
  • Increased violence
  • Disorganization
  • Depression
  • Paranoia
