At Victory Bay Recovery, helping people to acquire and maintain sobriety is a true blessing for AJ Solomon. Growing up in South Jersey and graduating from University of Pittsburgh with a Bachelors of Arts, AJ had an internship with US Senator Patrick Toomey. Then, while working for the Advance Team for New Jersey Governor Christie, he found himself struggling with addiction. He talks about how his life was saved because he attended treatment and was introduced to a new way of life. AJ credits his determination, his willingness to change his entire value system, plus great sponsorship, as big components in his recovery. It was through recovery that he realized it was the first thing that he was truly passionate about and his path for helping people was forged. As Co-Founder of Victory Bay Recovery Center, AJ now is blessed to be able to help others struggling with addiction.

Jessica Elliott is a graduate of Rhode Island College with degrees in Psychology and Chemical Dependency/Addiction Studies. She holds a Master’s degree from Salve Regina University in Holistic Therapy and received her CAGS in Mental Health in 2013. Ms. Elliott is certified as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Licensed Chemical Dependency Professional, Expressive and Creative Arts Facilitator, Motivational Interviewing Facilitator, and Yoga Instructor. Jessica has worked in the field as a clinician since 2005. Prior to joining the CSRI team, she held various clinical leadership positions for a large behavioral health organization. As Clinical Director of CSRI, she is now providing patient care as well as training and clinical oversight to our staff.

Denise Dunn, MA, LADC, has over 35 years working in behavioral healthcare. Her background includes working with working with adjudicated youth, in youth crisis shelters, and working on Federal Office of Treatment Improvement grant projects. Dunn has also held a number of positions working in substance use treatment facilities in standards and compliance and as a case manager, counselor, national trainer, clinical informaticist, and Regional Director of Clinical Excellence and Quality. Denise obtained her MA in Addiction Counseling from Hazelden Graduate School and maintains a license as an alcohol and other drug counselor.
