Teens take part in recreational therapy, art and music therapies, meditation, fitness and nutrition programs. Motivational Interviewing (MI) and experiential therapies help them build confidence and coping skills for long-term success.
Beyond therapy, Never Alone creates a welcoming, fun environment. Patients enjoy a game room, a barber/beautician, basketball and volleyball courts, beach outings, cornhole and karaoke. The staff was very nice and helpful. The rules are a bit extreme. The building and sleeping quarters are very old and run down. Kind of felt like someone's pockets were being padded rather than using the cost for treatment toward making the environment more clean and comfortable. Not sure why the building has never been updated.
