Compassionate staff members with a strong focus on teaching the patient that it is okay to forgive themselves and to move forward. Mindfulness and recognizing triggers and behavior modification was paramount and one of the most helpful tools in the process. Staffing ratios are outstanding, there is always a staff member available for a chat. Clients are treated with respect, dignity and kindness and the teamwork approach is extremely effective. When I came in I was really scared and I didn't really want to be here. I had no idea what to expect because it was my first time in treatment. Throughout my stay I learned a lot, the classes helped me change my mind set. I used to sit on negative thoughts a lot and now I pray three times a day. Never did I think I would be able to stay here for the whole 30 days but this has been such a good experience. There were a few things that came up during my stay but it was worked through. I feel more prepared to go home because it helped me to refocus. I was in a downward spiral, I had lost three jobs and I felt hopeless, but now I have a sense of hope. I met a lot of new friends and its going to be sad to leave them behind. But I'm ready to go back and take care of my family. If I hadn't stayed here I would have relapsed, but this place helped prepare me to face those triggers. I'm going to go to meetings and I enjoyed the speakers a lot. I know meetings are necessary for me to stay sober. Most certainly I would recommend anybody struggling to come here because it changed my life. I loved the approach here, I did the LGBTQ classes with Therapist Hirely and they were great. They make people from all walks of life feel comfortable and to feel safe enough to focus on your healing. Risha the pharmacy nurse was amazing, I don't know how she does what she does because she helps so many people every day and stays so positive. My Case Manager Stephen was also very helpful.
This about Alumni Coordinator ANGEL CRUZ. This amazing person has become what I’d like to call family! During treatment when I saw him he greeted me like a brother. He truly wants to see me succeed and he is always there for me. Thank you Angel!!
