We recently had a hurricane and for those of us that stayed, the staff was completely professional and prepared. Josh the maintenance director was incredible. He prepared everyone and made something that could have been chaotic and scary into a smooth and reassuring process. I have never seen anything like it before. He got everyone into their new rooms easily and calmed everyone with a thorough explanation of the plan while addressing everyone's concerns. I felt completely safe and had no doubt I was in very good and capable hands. He always makes himself available for you and even orders the pizzas every other week for the pizza party himself. I am so grateful to have had the support of the staff during the storm and my entire time here, its been a wonderful experience thus far and Im so glad I came. Highly recommend.
Wayside is truly unique, with long term substance treatment for women. I needed that and got it. Wayside loved me before I could love myself, and helped me live again. Saved my life.
Dream Center for Recovery (DCR) worked wonders for me. I am currently one year sober and it's all due to DCR. DCR has taught me coping skills and how to make my life manageable again. The accommodations are nonetheless more than expected. Rooms are clean, pool is maintained, rec center / cafeteria cleaned. The chef onsite bakes everything. No fried food. If you're allergic to a certain food and / or are a vegetarian, Chef accommodates as much as possible. Every Sunday there's adventure therapy. You learn to live again without the need of alcohol or drugs. DCR tries to bring you back to normality as healthy as possible. I would and have already recommended DCR to people in need of recovery.
