Windsor Laurelwood Center for Behavioral Medicine
The adolescent ward had kind and caring staff who really seemed to care about the patients. I was there for 6 days and was given knowledge and skills to use when I left. They set me up with therapy and a crisis plan as well. It was overall a beneficial experience, though I hope not to have to go back.

They also help put you on the path to having your own apartment. They help you achieve your ged also. They allow your children to live with you if they are under the age of 12 but if it's cold out , snowing or raining they don't help with transportation you have to walk and a lot of women have newborn babies also They have to take in the cold. I feel during cold weather they could give kids rides to school/daycare. I love the facility bc they help with more than getting clean which we need bc recovery isn't just about getting clean it's about living life better in EVERY WAY
