Greenhouse Treatment Center
The group therapy sessions here provided me with so much education on not only addiction, but mental health and how they co-occur with one another. I learned the underlying causes of my substance abuse, had a personal treatment and aftercare plan created for me, and am confident about completing the program and committing to sobriety more than I ever have before in my life. The personal accommodations are comparable to a hotel. All of our physical and emotional needs are taken care of in here, all we have to focus on is getting better. I will say that when communicating with someone from AAC about my interest in coming here, they really hammed up the place. It seems like such a sales pitch the more that I think about it. This is just regarding the amenities, a few of which were not available here, which isn't a big deal because I didn't come here solely for that. This has been one of the hardest, most rewarding experiences of my life. The meals are good portions, so I never went hungry, and I enjoyed eating them. The nutrition was lacking for a place that emphasizes healthy eating habits, but I do appreciate the variety of options at every meal. Overall, I'm confident that I went with right treatment center to begin my journey in recovery. Thank you for saving my life, Greenhouse staff!
