I had lost all hope before I started going to treatment. All of the counselors even the ones that were not mine made me feel like they genuinely cared about my well being. I am still working very hard with my counselor and group but for the first time in my life I am hanging in there and not using. I am only writing this because I want others to know that this is a place worth going. It is clean, caring and they try extra hard to get you what you need to understand how to stop using and stay that way. I highly recommend.

This facility has several levels of care and the staff to back them. Miracles hires peer mentors that bridges the gap between staff and clients. Miracles serves adult and adolescents. They could use better computers for clients to job serch. Their computers are old and out dated. I had tried other treatment facilities and miracles program for women had a different kind of care. It was very spiritual as is the women who work there. They have a way of getting you to focus on your spirituality and teach how to apply that in your daily living for a healthy sobriety.
Sunflower Wellness Retreat
As someone who has unfortunately been in couple of different 30 day treatment programs over the past 10 years, Sunflower is by far the best in the Kansas City area. Their staff truly cares from the owner and director, to the staff who work overnight. Their onsite therapy is profound. I personally had this one great therapist and will continue to work with her on an outpatient basis. All in all, the best experience I have ever had with a treatment program.
