This last time I went away to Maine from NYC and began anew. i was living with a bunch of sober guys who were like-minded for the most part and bought right in to the culture that was pervasive here. Guys were getting well, getting sponsors, going to meetings, working AA 12 steps, providing service both in AA and our community, we were engaged in fun activities like tennis, golf, football, kayaking, yoga, acupuncture, going to the beach, playing golf and football to name a few.
