It's about getting the addict to focus on the REAL problem (addiction) and their role in the their own recovery. First and foremost, self-care and maturity are fostered over pharmaceutical fixes. Patients are expected to learn responsibility in order to handle the problems that drove them to addiction in the past.
Detox and Treatment Center
The treatment here is effective, they did however lose a bag containing my laptop, birth certificate, and a flash-drive containing digital forms of my ID and Social Security Card. An entire suitcase of clothes was also “missing” after my discharge.
