staff ratio is excellent facility if clean food is healthy and excellent safe enviroment . One year ago in March my world changed unexpectedly. I was an innocent victim in an armed robbery on the Pennsylvania Turnpike where a guard, a co-worker and the robber were all killed. I was the fortunate one, but this came with many emotions which turned into PTSD, trauma, anxiety and depression. My wife looked for a full-time rehab that offered a plan based on my personal needs to help treat the trauma and all the symptoms that were making my life unbearable. From the moment we arrived for admission until my very last day I was shown the most respect, love kindness and SAFE environment possible. Sabino's attention to a one-to-one ration, plus the focus of my main concern, PTSD, was amazing. We searched many facilities on the east coast and were not successful. I believe the treatment Sabino Recovery has in place should be modeled across the country! They only hire the best of the best employees. Now the Emotions: I am so confident I am leaving here a better man, better husband, and I am very, very grateful! As I leave and return to my life, I will miss my many friends I have made with my fellow residents and staff. Every staff member had so much encouragement and love to give daily. I went here for what I thought was an addiction problem but through different types of therapy, realized the addiction was only a little of the problem. Here, I was able to face my demons that had been haunting me for years. EMDR therapy helped me process some trauma and my process groups helped me relate to other people struggling with depressions and anxiety like me. Swimming, equine therapy and the ropes course we're some of my favorite outdoor activities. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for healing. Accommodating, more than enough staff members on duty, beautiful surroundings, talent shows, etc. Not exactly closed off so one could technically escape if they did not want to be there.
