I recommend Treehouse highly, that's because my loved one has had the very best experience there, sobriety after some very expensive and "good" as in traditional ones (Caron and Cottonwood for example). Leadership of Treehouse are very good because they're listeners, and adaptors, with family members, and addicts I believe. They manage expectations, and really embody respect for sober living. Some of their treatment can seem dogmatic (from what I hear, not my own experience) but again, I think this is something that the addicts and residents there want. While they respect 12-step work as a method of sobriety that works for some it is not wholly structured around it. They feel personal health, community role and other aspects are just as important. I highly recommend talking to them when choosing rehabs, I'm so glad we did and our loved one is sober at 1.5 years. Yes, major gratitude.
Every employee I came into contact with was friendly, helpful and nonjudgemental. There are specific employees that I would like to mention who stood out, in my opinion. Medica)- amazing, they definetly have a gem in her. SUPER eager to help always. Support staff - always moving, always willing to help, always smiling which brings brightness to your day in a situation like this. Case managers - very knowledgeable, always checking on her clients status, absolutely always positive and again, very knowledgeable. therapist - lots of insight, runs great groups at the facility. Medical - very helpful always, real. All employees are great though. The owner comes in daily and directly makes contact with the clients daily. Chef for lunch and dinner and food is great.
I liked the idea that the staff members had all gone through the same life situation, had given recovery a REAL chance and in giving back decided to help others through the scary, yet beneficial process of recovery. You need to have an open mind and truly understand that everyone is there to help; no judging, no criticizing. Because anyone going through addiction needs a firm, however loving and caring guide through the process of recovery. They talked about aftercare options, however I chose not to go.
