I loved this facility with the exception of my counselor. He led my process group 3 days out of the week. He talks too much & he doesnt seem to fully understand substance abuse/addiction. I didnt agree with a majority of the things he chose to discuss during groups or his process groups. He was unorganized & would ask me the same questions over & over. He waited until the last minute to complete my discharge paperwork & even forgot to get my signature. I was flying out that morning. Hes a nice guy and means well, but I wish I had requested a different counselor earlier on at my stay there. The other counselors and staff are phenomenal. The ranch is set on beautiful land. Accommodations were great as well. PrTMS was very beneficial for me, although it is extremely expensive. Overall it was a great atmosphere and Im very grateful I got the opportunity to go there. Great treatment opportunities. Great staff available for working the steps. Cleaning crew & meals provided. Allow clients to use phones every day. My specific counselor. Ranch is located so far out that it was strenuous going to outside meetings in San Antonio. Also they seem to be very understaffed as well.
The Greenhouse Treatment Center is a wonderful place for broken individuals to begin to heal. The staff genuinely cares about the clients and the experience of the one struggling with substance abuse disorder will feel welcomed. Help awaits you here!
Very good spiritual approach, staff who really care, nice amenities. very 12 step and spiritually oriented. Best treatment I've been to (out of 6). They also connected me with a sober house where I found sobriety after a relapse. There was no incentive for them to do so. Great facility.
