I felt comfortable from day one. The community is welcoming and helped me out getting to classes and showing me around. I got a big sister who helped me find a good group of people and gave me a lot of support and encouragement. I was so appreciative of everyone here including my therapist and case manager, the nurses and TA's, the doctors who helped me with my medication and even the other clients who showed me how to have fun sober and build friendships. I went from a very scared and miserable person to building my tools and self esteem back and feeling confident to go home and start fresh. I loved Amy's groups and learned how to deal with my triggers which will be very helpful for when I get home. I would recommend River Oaks to anyone seeking treatment and trying to change their life.
Ambrosia was probably the best treatment center I've ever been through, the staff is attentive to every need, even when you fight them on it. they helped me break down a lot of barrier's i haven't really been able to break down before. everything is well organized, the staff from aftercare alumni to clinical were all phenomenal. my therapist here and i truly appreciated him and all the hard work he did with me even when i didn't want to admit that i was wrong. very happy with this experience, id recommend to anyone.
They gave me very individualized attention...very fluid atmosphere that I feel is extremely helpful for anyone in recovery...I\'d like to revisit as a sober get away really...They are doing a fantastic job in their program
