I am currently a patient here right now- feel free to ask me questions. Facilities, food, and some staff are top notch. Too much emphasis on AA which is free. Clinically, too rushed and not enough 1:1 therapy available for the price tag. Gym is like a Motel 8. Upper management too focused on money and less concerned about the quality of treatment, and money talks here. Standards are compromised for the almighty dollar which is a disappointment. In recovery, money doesn't buy sobriety so in some ways these luxury treatment models are flawed and just enable the addict/alcoholic. If changes were made at the top and the right people were managing the place this facility could be one of the best. Currently, it is does not offer nearly the value its price tag commands and consequently I do not recommend it.
It was a beautiful time. I started early in the morning exercising and go to the gym, have breakfast come back to get ready for groups and go to town hall, then get ready to hit my groups. Its highly structured and keeps you busy and engaged. I had some free time to work on personal stuff. You get to keep your phone which creates and outlet to help you work through stuff. If you work it, its a beautiful. They're starting a Big Book study and we played volley ball in the afternoons after groups, then we would all go to dinner and have some study time before we hit the AA meeting. The the gym again after our meeting lets out at 7:30. Have some time to myself before I go to sleep. I enjoyed having time to work on myself and meet other people. I had time to work on my mind, body, spirit, which made me feel so much better about myself. I was even able to quit smoking here and I'm really proud of myself. The smoking class they have was amazing. I learned so much while I was here. I had a great therapist, all the counselors are awesome and that's the beauty of this. The groups were awesome, the therapists are top of the line. I loved Dimitris, Ty, James, and Tony. They really get down deep and highly motivated. Everybody is on the top of their game across the board. I've been to facilities that were like lockdown but this place has incredible care and its very open and enjoyable. I would recommend this to anyone. and I might recommend some of my friends here. I think every person should go through a program like this.
This about Alumni Coordinator ANGEL CRUZ. This amazing person has become what I’d like to call family! During treatment when I saw him he greeted me like a brother. He truly wants to see me succeed and he is always there for me. Thank you Angel!!
