Recovery First Treatment Center, Hollywood
My experience working with the counselors and staff at Recovery First was excellent. I was an outpatient there in February - March 2008. I was 39 at the time and probably wouldn't have seen my 45th birthday had it not been for the knowledge, structure, and strongly suggested direction I received while in treatment there. They made me realize that if I didn't take my recovery seriously and put it first in my life I could lose my freedom and be institutionalized or possibly lose my life. It's been 15 years since I received treatment and care from Recovery First. I've been clean and sober every day since the day I arrived on campus. That's 5488 days!!! I will forever be grateful and humble for the selfless work done by this facility for those who choose to put their lives in their hands. I remain in a 12 step program to this day.
