River Oaks Treatment Center
This was my first time in Rehab…I thought I was coming to detox 5 - 7, and ended up staying 55 days. The 26 acre facility was like living in the middle of a park (old oak trees, a 12 step path, and the beautiful fountains). The staff was extremely knowledgeable and encouraging, they made group sessions engaging, safe, and allowed me to be vulnerable and share. I thought time would pass by slowly but I was surprised by the quality group sessions and peer activities from nightly peer lead AA and NA meetings to Spa, Movie, Karaoke, and Art nights. I worked with Meg for EMDR treatment and Hirely as my primary therapist. They were wonderfully supportive and I would not have made the progress I did without their help. I was also impressed with the level of support I received from Dr. Vega (my Psychiatrist), Dr. Rucker and Dr. Sina (my Providers). And then there was the support staff, a huge thank you to each and everyone!
