Thirty one short days ago I was one foot off the cliff of life. Looking down ready to jump due to the depths of my depression & addiction. Battling my demons for almost thirty years, it has taken me through the depths of living hell. It was at that time, I was on the way to the Ochsner hospital contemplating that jump . Something told me to call Townsand as last plea, knowing there would be waiting list. Upon calling the blessings started to appear. Within twelve hours I was walking though the front door. Only two be greeted by the most passionate and sincere nurses I’ve ever met. It wasn’t long before the tech supervisor, would be catering to any an every need! And that wouldn’t stop there! Thank you to my doctor for putting up with our sessions and assessments full of tears of pain. You are the most knowledgeable and passionate addiction doctor I’ve ever sat down with. The people here truly have saved my life and taught me how to love myself again. I want to thank my counselor for guiding me back to loving myself again. From the moment I walked in until my final day the staff has been nothing short of God-sent people. These people genuinely care about the outcome of their patients! After over dozen stays in treatment centers & mental institutions spanning over multiple states. Hands down the state of the art accommodations ,cleanliness , and overall knowledgeable staff is bar none. If you have a loved one or if your suffering from the depths of addiction. I can’t recommend this place enough! Words can’t describe the gratitude I have for this experience. Tears of joy roll down my face as I write this because I have my life again. I didn't know what to expect. Actually, I expected it to be much more like the state-run facilities I had tried in the past. It far exceeded my expectations! It's a good treatment center full of people who really want to make a difference in the world. They care, first and foremost.

Continual 12 step meetings and outpatient follow-ups 30 days is too short for some addicts. You get what you put into recovery. If you're truly serious you can well become better fairly quick, but the continuation once you're discharged is up to the individual. If you don't get a spiritual foundation and change people, places and things you're doomed to relapse. This' facility takes you through the withdrawals and points you in the right direction with our available resources.
