The Ranch at Dove Tree

Don't resist the process. There's a reason for everything they do. Throw caution to the wind. Be vulnerable, totally honest and work hard. It may not feel like it, but days at Dove Tree are a gift and if you want it, you can get your life back. Beautiful grounds, good counselors. Family involvement is considered very important. Great gym, yoga and other various structured exercise. Programs are tailored specifically for each client. Rehab is hard no matter where you are. The first few days are grueling, maybe that could have been improved. I wasn't court ordered, I wanted to turn things around before I experienced losses. I felt like I was being treated like a criminal right at first. However, it passed and I learned why they follow such strict protocols, but still, it made it harder.

Great Oaks Recovery Center

My son spent 30 days in May at this facility and it saved his life - they taught him about addiction, how to deal with it and how to accept it and how to bring these skills home. They saved his life, brought my son back into my life and if you or someone you love are serious about handling addiction -- this is THE place to go. My son is still in constant contact with his counselor , is serious about handling it with AA on a constant basis. I can not say enough good things about this place.

Greenhouse Treatment Center

I, am sitting here at the greenhouse, with no place to go. Two days ago, my friend Lauren was leaving and I asked her to go to store and get me 5 packs of cigarettes. She didn't want to unless, i got permission. It was Easter, so not everyone was here. I asked my therapist if that would be ok and he said yes. So, when she came back with them, I went to the front desk to get them and she got real offended and took it rather personal and told me no i couldn't have them. That a client could not bring anything in from the outside. i told her that i had permission, she didn't care and went to ask the lead, with some other lady. When they got back, no one said anything , yes or no. I went to talk to Willy on of the ta and told him what happened. He told me to go back down there and tell Christy that he was working on taking care of the issue. When I went back down to her desk, i wanted to make sure she didn't throw them away. I asked her if she would put my name and room # on them, so i atleast go them when i left. She then told me that she didn't have them, that she made Lauren take them back. I was mad then and which was a lie. Christy, told me this in hope to really piss me off and that is exactly what happened. Bare in mind, I had taken to much wellbutrin, per doctor that I would probably get more irritated than usual. I had been refusing the extra pill, but thought i could handle it that day. It was my idea with the dr to go up on it, so when i had noticed a huge change in my behavior i stopped taking the extra one. I told Christy, that I gave my friend 50 bucks and somebody was going to pay me my 50 bucks and it looks like its going to be you. Christy, said where did you get money? i told her none of her .....business. I went to my room, got my phone and verified the lie. I was pretty mad. so, i walked on the side of her desk to get a grievance.. She popped of and said something to me in the manner of you better not..... and i said no but, i may wring your neck. She threatened me first and she was do her best to make me even more irritated. Willy should of never told me to go tell her anything. Willy talked with me and said he had two things i said with witnesses against me. He never said what they were and nothing in writing. He told me that I could either ama or transfer to another facility. I am on my last week , with plans to go to the next step of php and iop and live at the resolutions, where im held accountable for being sober. I told him i needed a few minutes to make a decision. I walked of crying and screaming at him to let me have a few minutes. He wasn't having it. He called the police and they came and talked to me and i had to make a decision right then. So, I told them transfer, which wouldn't happen until the next day. I woke up and went to speak with Todd. He told me to write my grievance and turn it in today, which was yesterday. I finished it up at lunch. Took ownership of my behavior and said that i would like to make and amends. The decision was already made that they wanted me to leave. I, also had been working on my homework, so i had alot of unprocessed emotions. I spent my day yesterday in the lobby, waiting to be transferred somewhere. Still here today. Please reconsider, thank you
