This facility did care about my son, but he felt very pressured to stay beyond 28 days...When he stated he was not going to continue his stay, he noticed a distinct difference in how his counselors treated him...Nevertheless, my son thought it was a valuable experience....My son is a 46 year old very successful business man but the majority of the patients were young kids in their early 20's with both drug and alcohol problems, so he had some level of difficulty relating at first.

I had gone to La Vista for some months. And I'd like to thank all the staff members there. Including the supervisor. It was very therapeutic and I learned a lot from being there. I got the chance to really open up and share my thoughts and express my feelings. The food was always the best part. And I learned a lot about myself and what recovery means to me.
