Many different issues with the people there while I was. Workaholic, exercise addiction, drugs, love, shop lifting, over eating, depression, self esteem, marriage, social skills, abuse (both as adults and children). We were assigned to groups, so I had both men and women, some all women, some all men. I wish I had the money to send one of my sons for his alcohol addiction. I wish I would have stayed at least 6 weeks instead of just 30 days.

This facility saved my life! The staff are dedicated and amazing at what they do. I truly feel they gave me the tools I need to lead a sober life. The road to recovery is hard and change is scary. If you don't feel uncomfortable at some point then you are not growing. Fountain Hills Recovery did not coddle me. It was the perfect balance of accountability and empathy. Remember, addicts/alcoholics are a manipulative bunch and we need someone to talk straight with us or it just doesn't stick. Fountain Hills Recovery gave me that and so much more. All masters level clinicians and above, full time MD, psychiatrists, focus is on treating the whole person. Able to treat co occurring disorders not just say they do. Beautiful atmosphere and supportive community. Many different testaments available, truly individualized. I guess the rooms could be more posh if that's what is most important for you. I didn't always like the food but it was healthy. This really is the best place for treatment. I've tried others and they never offered enough to help my entire person recover. I see many things written here that are just not true. It's a great place to save your life if you're willing. This experience changed my entire life experience and I couldn't be more grateful.
