Bay Area Recovery Center - Men's Facility

Small groups make it easy to get attention equally. nothing good to kill time between meetings. It was a nice small facility but lacked things to do there

Memorial Hermann Prevention and Recovery Center

The last time my spouse was in treatment, I had been attending Al-Anon for a little over a year. The hospital has a very involved Alumni that come back to assist the patients, sponsor, etc. The alumni organization also has many recovery events during the year to help stay connected. The hospital has many meetings, AA, CA, NA that patients attend as well as their check in meetings. They check on how the patients are doing, where they're at emotionally, spiritually, etc. You learn about the disease and there is a lot of family programs and suggestions for family to get help. They teach that it is a family disease. There is aftercare for patients and family as well.
