Greenhouse Treatment Center

I loved the amentities. I loved some of the TA and Nurses and could not stand some. There were some that I had problems with over petty bullshit and the rules were a crapshoot according to who was working. Arturo was the best staff member I had the pleasure of meeting. I started a list for the med line on the first floor. The first night it averaged 134.7 hours per person to get meds and the next night was 2.0 hours per person. That is ridiculous to have to wait that long when there were only about 25 people to get meds. There is mold and mildew in some of the rooms making everyone have a headache and sick. Just several things that could make this place great. Alianna was the best lady TA I met here. Alex was very good too. The best nurse was Bradley by far. The AA guys were very disrespectful and pottymouth. Courtney was very inquisitive and seemed to take care of problems at a great rate. Todd, seemed to calm me down a lot by listening and talking through things with me. Levi was my favorite teacher. Thanks Dicky Jones e

The Meadows Texas

I was here for a 30 day program, and I flew all the way from Buffalo, NY to be here. Sunspire was a blessing in disguise, I learned so much about ME through the programs they offer. The food is to die for, and my experience with everyone was very positive! In fact I still keep in contact with a number if staff and people I have met through Sunspire. They taught me how to live a sober life, giving me tools to carry along the journey of a sober life. Of course there are some Hiccup's in any business, but the staff here really do care! I was there in Dec. 2016-till Jan. 2017 and had nothing less than a positive experience. Give it a try and you will be amazed!

Windmill Wellness Ranch

I loved this facility with the exception of my counselor. He led my process group 3 days out of the week. He talks too much & he doesnt seem to fully understand substance abuse/addiction. I didnt agree with a majority of the things he chose to discuss during groups or his process groups. He was unorganized & would ask me the same questions over & over. He waited until the last minute to complete my discharge paperwork & even forgot to get my signature. I was flying out that morning. Hes a nice guy and means well, but I wish I had requested a different counselor earlier on at my stay there. The other counselors and staff are phenomenal. The ranch is set on beautiful land. Accommodations were great as well. PrTMS was very beneficial for me, although it is extremely expensive. Overall it was a great atmosphere and Im very grateful I got the opportunity to go there. Great treatment opportunities. Great staff available for working the steps. Cleaning crew & meals provided. Allow clients to use phones every day. My specific counselor. Ranch is located so far out that it was strenuous going to outside meetings in San Antonio. Also they seem to be very understaffed as well.
