Greenhouse Outpatient Treatment Center
Nice room, but we had ants. No biggie, there was just a few of them. As far as treatment goes, I was here for Alcohol and there were barely any classes on AA. The most I learned about it was from Bills Christian Track class. Food was good!

This has been a wonderful place to recover from Alcohol abuse. The folks on the phone were very helpful understandable and non-judgmental. The intake process when I got here was a disaster. I got here at 12:00 AM in the morning had to wait three hours to be admitted and it was very overwhelming, the office dirty with old food, garbage was overflowing, there were ants everywhere. I finally got to my room at 6:00 AM and was put in a dirty room when someone had left earlier that day. I was honestly ready to leave but decided to stick it out. The next day i had to most wonderful TA and nurse who helped me navigate where to be and what medications to take to help my detox. There is no set schedule for what you need to do for what you need to do to meet all of the nurses, doctor, lab nurse, counselor etc. I think it would be beneficial to have a 1:1 meeting at the beginning so the guest can understand what is going to happen in their stay. Keith, the client advocate and Arturo are truly amazing and gave an orientation my second day - I think this needs to be done on the first day to help patience know what to expect and ease their anxiety. Alton, the detox therapist has been a God sent. He is caring, knowledgeable and will help get you answers if you have them. A lot of the offerings on the website are unavailable due to COVID. I am unsure when they will have them back so make sure you check with the facility to what they have to offer. All in all, this has helped me recover and I am thankful to have chosen Greenhouse.
